The type of document that one can create is a research paper performed in APA format. Functions such as spell checking, manipulating text by cutting and pasting, saving the document, help insure that one’s personally created document creates the desired effect. By using the spell checking feature of Microsoft Word Office 2013, a person can ensure that the reader “relays” the correct meaning of the document. Also,proper flow of a document can be achieved by using the cutting and pasting option. Adjusting certain sentences of a research paper can push one’s masterpiece above all others. The final finished product can be produced and refined by inducting the saving document feature. One can save the desired paper and “tweek” to perfection. Microsoft Office 2013 allows one to create great works of personalized gems to share with all the world.

The type of documents that I have personally created in Microsoft Word is Medical Record documents. When I was a medical transcriptionist I used Microsoft Word to type patient medical records and then uploaded them to their medical charts. I frequently used the spell check feature to ensure accuracy when using the medical terminology I was not familiar with. I would also use the cut and paste feature when proofreading the document if I felt sentences needed to be placed in a different category in the document. Because of the repetitiveness of a medical document, I found myself referring to the thesaurus quite often to replace frequently used terminology. When I was ready to print I ensured that the page did not end in an odd place and if it did I would use the page break feature to make it look more professional.
