Directions

1. Create a short email message on the importance of a college education.

2. Add a signature to the email.

3. Email the message to your instructor using the email address provided by them and carbon copy an alternate email address (you can use your own address).

2. Create a document and write text into the document so it is at least one page in length.

3. Insert a Running Title and Page number in a Header.

4. Insert the Date into a Footer.

5. Format the text to include changing Font, Font size, Bold text, and add a line before a paragraph.

6. Insert a Screenshot into the document to verify the task of adding a line before a paragraph (using the Line and Paragraph Spacing button).

7. Save the document.

5. Insert transitions into the presentation.

6. Use WordArt somewhere in the presentation.

7. The show should be at least eight slides.

8. Print handouts of four slides per page and insert a screenshot to show the printing option you have used. Insert screenshot as the last slide of the PowerPoint presentation.

Develop a Spreadsheet using a Spreadsheet Application 

Directions

You will develop an Excel Worksheet to complete this assignment.

1. The worksheet must include Row headings and Column headings. The Worksheet must have at least seven Rows and seven Columns. Make the Row headings a time series such as days of the week, or months of the year. Make the Column headings categories of food items you would sell at a grocery store.

2. The numbers that fill the Rows and Columns will be the number of items sold during whatever time period you set. You will just make up the fictitious numbers.

3. Change the Font style and Font size of the numbers in the Worksheet.

4. Change the Row and Column headins to Bold Font.

5. Use the Formula (AutoSum is easiest) to add the numbers in each Column. Display the totals at the bottom of each Column.

6. Create an appropriate chart for your Worksheet. Include the Row headings and Column headings in the chart. Do not include the totals in the chart as this will skew the results.

7. Save the Workbook (complete with the chart).
