Watch the video “ABC Milgram Re make” and read the section in your textbook about Milgram’s obedience experiment. Answer the following questions (you may need your textbook to help answer some of these questions):
1. What did Stanley milgram predict about the outcome of his obedience experiment? How accurate was he? What was percentage of participants who shocked “ALL THE WAY” to the lethal level of shocks?
2. Discuss some of your reactins to the “ABC re make” of Milgram’s famous study. What was interesting? What may have bothered you. Who (the participants) surprised you or had a lasting impression on you from the film.
3. From our textbook, what did this study reveal about obedience and how we respond to authority (What doe our textbook tell us…reference page # and section/use quotes as well).
After watching the video and reading about Milgram’s experiment, what are your thoughts about obedience and authority? Would you have complied with the instructions (honestly)? Why did some many participant’s shock to exteme levels? Reply to at least two other students in the class.
